Minoh Sister City Art Exchange Exhibition

Different Body, Same Mind

The Opening night for the Minoh Exhibition was a fantastic event celebrating the strong bond between the two cities. Guests included the Japanese Ambassador Mr Toshihisa Takata, German Ambassador Mr Gerhard Thiedemann, Mayor Ray Wallace, Deputy Mayor David Bassett, President of Hutt Art Centre David Balm, President of the Art Association of Minoh Minoru Kugo and other guests from Minoh City and Lower Hutt.....The exhibition 'Different Body, Same Mind' will be showing in the Odlin Art Gallery, Hutt Art Centre for the month of May.......make a definite point of seeing this great exhibition of works from the Art Association of Minoh

Art Exhibition - Minoh Japan   

David Balm, President of Hutt Art Centre met with the Art Association of Minoh, during a mayoral delegation from Lower Hutt to Minoh in October 2015 and it was agreed to exchange 25 Artworks between the 2 creative organisations in honour of the 20 year sister city relationship between the 2 cities.  The 60th Anniversay of Minoh Art Association in June 2016 Exhibition will exhibit the Art work donated by members of Hutt Art in Minoh and Hutt Art will exhibit Art work from Minoh in the Odlin Gallery in May 2017.
